We love the 4th of July!!

I really love celebrating the 4th of July. We had another great year. We started the day by doing my birthday shopping, my mom and Jake have great taste and know exactly what I want...to let me go shopping. I love my birthday for my splurge on my half year purchase of a new pair of Big Star jeans. Then we went to the pool and to finish off the night we roasted hot dogs and marshmallows and of course fireworks! Max loves them and Kate is scared. She is my child I was terrified of them as a little girl. I just new I was going to catch on fire.

I am so thankful that we live in this beautiful Country. God Bless America!

Balloon Festival

We made it this year, smiles and all. It was fun and I always like to go watch those big hot air balloons fill up and take off right next to you. The kids had a lot of fun. Happy 4th!

11 great years!

I just want to tell Jake that I think he is super and have loved the past 11 years that he has been my better half! I love that I can truely say we do not fight, and that he is my best friend. He treats me like his queen even when I don't deserve to be. Thanks for all the great memories even if we can't remember what we did for our last Anniversary! Love Hot Lips!

Well another great year of mutton bustin at the Strawberry Days Rodeo! Max gets so excited to do this each year and I think this may be his last. He is skinny enough maybe we could tie his legs up so they do not drag in the dirt next year! This year was especially fun because he rode the same night as his good buddy Holden. Holden had a sweet ride I think he got 3rd. Max came out a little crooked on the sheep and did not last long but he loved every minute of it. Oh and he did not get the black sheep..watch your back Jason he means business! I love my tough little boy!

A BREAK IN THE RAIN CLOUD....

We actually had a brief moment of sunshine this morning so we went and fed the ducks. The ducks were hungry and the kids had so much fun.....

Firemans Breakfast

This is one of our family's favorite tradition, and this year Grandma and Grandpa Sutch joined us. Grandma is a night owl so this was early rising for her! I feel like after the fireman's breakfast, Strawberry days is right around the corner. YAHOO! Well Max waits all year for this and can't quite understand WHY they only do it once a year. He says "It's the BEST breakfast ever!" Like always we can't wait for next year!
