We had pumpkins to carve and I could not resist the 75 degree afternoon sun!!! It was absolutely beautiful outside and not to mention no pumpkin guts mess in my kitchen. So out we went to carve our pumpkins~

Ok this has been a long week…Kate started it with vomiting on Sunday, diarrhea on Monday, and Tuesday a fever and severe abdominal pain which took us to the pediatrician and from there to the hospital for an ultrasound and blood work to make sure she did not have appendicitis. Thank goodness she did not. Max joined the fun Wednesday with vomiting and feeling yucky!! I made it to work finally on Thursday and Max and Kate back to their normal routine too. I love to stay home with my kids but not on this circumstance. I have been washing everything trying to get rid of the bad juju so I don't get sick next….
The crisp cold air, crunchy autumn leaves, warm cider, crisp sweet caramel apples, and rice puff balls means only one thing…HALLOWEEN is coming!!
If you know us well you know we love to dress up and think of fun original costumes. This year is going to be hard Max keeps changing his mind to what he wants to be. I think everyday it is something new. Kate is happy if it is Cute!!
Halloween is a fun memory for me I loved these rice puff balls my Grandma Cobbley use to make every year, the Halloween carnival at school when you could still BAKE a CAKE for the cake walk. The sPOok aLLeY that was really scary not fun for everyone. And all of the old Retro decorations we would decorate with!
I wish you good luck in finding that perfect costume and my kids really enjoyed this on Disney.com they have old Halloween cartoons that you can watch. Like old Mickey mouse and Donald duck!
