LUNA!

Driving home tonight Kate says "I see a banana!" Jake asks concerned "Where?" He thinks she has smuggled a banana in the car. "Out dare (there)!" she replies.
But what she saw was the moon !
I love the moon, and always point it out to my kids. They are getting to where they see it first!

Tooth Fairy tragedy

This is Max's story of loosing his first tooth!

His permanent tooth was coming in behind his baby tooth and that baby tooth was not going anywhere.

We gave it a couple of weeks and told him to wiggle it and we had been wiggling but no luck so we had to go see Dr Blake. Max was so excited to loose his first tooth and all weekend he asked how much longer until I go to the dentist. I don't do well at the dentist myself, so Jake left work early and took him. It sounds like it was quick and easy. He put some topical numbing agent on it and then just popped it out!

Max was so excited to see me and show me his hole in his mouth.They gave him this cute tooth shaped holder that he could wear around his neck and he carried it around all night.Bedtime came and he was so excited to leave it under his pillow to get some money. I should have known when he came down 15 minutes later asking for me to take his picture with his tooth because this was his BEST TOOTH.

Well the tooth fairy came while he was sleeping and left him $4. She thought he would be pretty excited but, morning came and she was wrong!!!! I had my camera all ready and I went in his room and he was just laying there no expression... I ask, "What did you get?" Max replies bummed "Only $3 dollars, I wanted $20!" I help him find the other dollar under his pillow, but it did not matter he was set on $20. I try to explain she could not possibly pay $20 for every tooth to every child, but he does not care. So I go back to my room to finish getting ready for the day and 10 minutes later I go back to see why he is not up and going and he has the blanket pulled over this head.

I ask "what is wrong?"... no answer so I pull the blanket back and find this.....tears, tears, tears. SHE sniff sniff sniff TOOK sniff sniff sniff MY TOOTH!!!!! I WANT IT BACK! Oh my gosh is this for real?

So I try to explain that the tooth fairy takes your teeth and leaves you money. So he finally comes down to breakfast and I ask where his money is and he tells me back under the pillow. He does not want it, he wants his tooth. So I tell him I will try and get a hold of her and see what we can do. That night after work the first thing he asks "Did you talk to her?" I told him she emailed me and will bring the tooth back for $2 he says "fine all leave it all for her I don't want her money." Well, bedtime Tuesday night he quickly put all $4 on his night stand with his little tooth holder.

Good thing the tooth did not go in the garbage Monday night. Well we were all smiles and giggle this morning and he told me he is never leaving the tooth fairy ANY of HIS TEETH. More money in the bank for me! Ha! Ha! I Love this Kid! He is definitely one of a kind!

Bonfire+ Vampires = FUN!!!

Grandma Sutch had a Twilight party last night at her house. Grandpa had some big stumps in the field so we had a bonfire and roasted hot dogs and marshmallow's. Then we went and watched Twilight. It was fun, my camera died early so I did not get many pictures. I made cupcakes with fangs and blood and the boys loved it. They were out running in the field with there vampire teeth! The movie was pretty cheesey! Cindy and I were sporting our Bite me and Bella T's! We were hot! Ha Ha!Thanks for the fun night!

My new baby!!

Well we thought it was time to add to our family so we bought us a new car. It is used, but new to us. It was kind of a sad day to part with the Honda, it was 11 years old and we have had it for 10. I had been admiring this Armada for a few weeks now and after I drove it again on Saturday and I told it I loved it, Jake gave in and we bought it. It has so many buttons and features I don't know what to do. Some of my favorites is the pedals move forward for shorty's like me and my seat has a memory , heated leather seats, tons of room..and Jake's head clears! My kids think they have died and gone to heaven. I was worried about Max he gets attached to things but when saw it he said he liked it 100 %. And it is cool because it is black and that is his favorite color! I'll be a frequenter to the car wash for sure. Kate loves that she can see out!

We made it 1 week!!!!!

Well 1 week down and I hope many more to come. We have been trying to potty train Kate and so far so good. Because I am posting this it will probably jinks me now. Today she did not have any accidents! Max was a piece of cake and she has been a lot harder. Thank goodness for Dora and Princess panties because she does not want to pee on them. And my favorite was during the negotiation stages all she wanted was FIVE BUCKS so she could buy herself an American Girl bitty baby doll. I have been giving her a dollar each day and she is so proud of her cash! I am sorry but those little underwear bums are so cute!

Watching her made my belly button pucker!

And the best part was she loved it and kept eating it and all of these faces would repeat!
