I remember....

A few people have done this and I think it's fun...
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! This can be about me or Jake or even us together!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Thoughts of my 5 year old

Tonight when I was tucking Max in bed, I asked him if he as excited to go to kindergarten in a few weeks......
Max...Only a little.
Kell...oh really why?
Max...well it will be less time I get to play video games!

I think I have a serious gamer on my hands. It doesn't help with his view of Jake's job. He thinks Jake plays games all day. On Saturday Jake took him to work for a while and he let him play the company's X-BOX while he was there... therefore reinforcing his idea's.
Wish me luck!

I promise that he does not play video games all day. He is very active and believe it or not we go weeks at a time without turning it on!

BRIDAL VEIL FALLS

On Sunday we went on picnic as a family to Bridal Veil Falls. That was our final hurrah before Kurt, Molly, Abby and Graham headed back home to South Carolina. I know my kids had so much fun with them and will miss them, until next year......

SEVEN PEAKS

Kate loved the splash pool, she had
a blast running through the fountains!

Max in his OOGLES check out the stickers!

Abby, Ian, Graham, Adam, Maiya, Kate & Max!

We had a great time at Seven Peaks on Saturday. My entire family went even Papa Ned. We did not see much of the big kids they went from slide to slide. Max and Maiya the twins had fun going on the slides together and just swimming in the pools. They would fight over which one would get to go with Aunt Molly on the tube runs. It's fun for the kids to play and make great memories together! They are all good buddies!

Thanks Marnie for the pictures, I did not take my camera!

HaPPy 4th of JULY!!!

The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays! It could be that is so close to my birthday so I feel like we celebrate for a few days! I love to BBQ and hang out outside with my family and then watch the fireworks.

We got a new pool for the kids, they played in that and we had some family over to eat. Jake made ribs that were awesome. The kids {OK we all did} enjoyed the homemade ice cream and huge cupcakes for dessert. And of course the fabulous Sutch firework display put on by the pyromaniac Jacob LeMar Sutch! We were able to see the fireworks at the Jr. High but it was not the same as our great view from the High school :( We are so blessed to live where we do! God Bless America!
