Weekend of Easter Fun....

Max just loves Easter, it is one of his favorite holidays.
Our weekend started out coloring Easter eggs, on Friday night, with Aunt Julie. Then we went to dinner at Iggy's sports bar. mmm it was good!

Max showing off his bunny hat he made at school.
They had a party Friday and when I picked him up he told me "Today was the best day of school EVER!"

Saturday morning we headed to Discovery park, in the rain, to the city egg hunt. Kate was a little go-getter. She was cute she was definitely hand picking the ones she wanted she would pick up one from a group and leave the others there. Max moved up to the big kid area, it is 6-10 years old. He is now in the rat race for eggs. Jake was worried he had not got any. He did get 4, Jake watched my sweet boy take some out of his basket and give to a girl. He would rather share than let someone be without!

Kate blowing bubbles!?!
Look at that kisser, she cracks me up!

We had dinner at our house, my Mom and Dad along with the Sutch family came over. We ate and then had an Easter Egg hunt around the yard. It was a little different from the Arena hunt we usually do. It was fun the kids had to look a little harder. Uncle Jared was laying down the rules before we let them loose.

They always make a haul, candy, kites, bubbles... But Kate was the big winner, she found the egg with $1 in it.Wahoo Kate!
OK Braden and Uncle Jared helped her a little.

And of course the Easter Bunny left baskets. This year Max had to read his clues instead of picture clues. He did great. Kate loved her picture clues. We went all over the house and funny thing...their baskets were in their beds!

Happy Easter!
I love weekends filled with fun, family and chocolate!
