Cascade Springs

2 weeks ago Jake took the day off and we went to drove the Alpine Loop and went to Cascade Springs and had lunch. I have not been there for along time. It was fun the kids loved the wood walk ways and finding the fish. Max loved that we were at the top of the mountains and the snow on the back of Timp.

swimming lesson....

The kids finished swimming lessons a week ago and love every second of it. They are both little fishes. Max is really getting the hang of it and loves the water. His goal is to go off the diving board. He just needs to get a little stronger front crawl. Kate was fearless and loved all the games they played. They both had great teachers.

I have died and gone to heaven.....

I had the kids pictures taken by a great gal Tiff and she did such a fabulous job! I love love love them! I can't believe how grown up Max is, he melts my heart in these pictures. And I love all the many faces of my girly girly Kate! She is a crack up!

I had to write these down....

Kate came out of the bathroom the other night and said, " My poop was HUGE, it was as big as a baby alligator. And it was ANGRY!" She was dead serious. She is such a princess!

I had the kids pictures taken this week and I told him to look good and we could give a picture to his girlfriend. Tiff asked Max about his girlfriend and he told her, "Yeah I really like her because she does not say much." Such a Man just sit there and look pretty women!

We love the 4th of July!!

I really love celebrating the 4th of July. We had another great year. We started the day by doing my birthday shopping, my mom and Jake have great taste and know exactly what I want...to let me go shopping. I love my birthday for my splurge on my half year purchase of a new pair of Big Star jeans. Then we went to the pool and to finish off the night we roasted hot dogs and marshmallows and of course fireworks! Max loves them and Kate is scared. She is my child I was terrified of them as a little girl. I just new I was going to catch on fire.

I am so thankful that we live in this beautiful Country. God Bless America!

Balloon Festival

We made it this year, smiles and all. It was fun and I always like to go watch those big hot air balloons fill up and take off right next to you. The kids had a lot of fun. Happy 4th!
